Prior to founding Digital Empire Consultancy, Govind started his own web based entrepreneurial ventures of developing and monetizing websites/ online businesses in 2005 throughout his years in high school and university.

The digital landscape was completely different, and he took advantage of white, grey, and black hat SEO techniques. By taking advantage of this he was able to launch and acquire several online niche businesses and scale them up quickly. Throughout a 10-year span, he built, acquired, and sold (flipped) over 100+ online businesses.

From 2011 onwards he worked across digital marketing agencies in Sydney where he held specialist, analyst, and management roles,where he managed a range of Tier 1, 2 & 3 clients. Notable brands include Bupa, Bayer, Expedia, Westpac, St. George, Bauer Media Group, Breville, Red Nose, World Animal Protection, Philips Lighting, Luna Park & The Color Run.
